Details
Very cute for the miniature garden! Tiny, uniform, dark green needles radiate around the many short branches of this dwarf Balsam Fir. Such character! Such attitude! Lol!
The Piccolo Balsam Fir is a perfect companion tree too, paired with a taller tree, like the Jean's Dilly Dwarf Spruce or a Sky Pencil Holly. This dense, very dwarf globe is ideal for rock gardens, containers and small landscapes. Hardy too!
- Globe shape but the canopy is raised-up on tiny trunk
- Growth rate: less than 1" per year
- Cold hardy zones 3 - 6 or -40F
- Heat hardy zones 6 - 1
- Full sun to part sun
