Low-Growing 'Bedding' Plants
This section is especially for miniature gardeners. "Low-growing bedding plants" are what we call ground covers that grow close to the soil, less than 1" tall. Note that the flowers can add an inch in height during the flowering-period.
About Designing Miniature Gardens
Use the low-growing ground covers at the front of the mini garden bed, alongside a garden path, or to create faux-miniature-lawn-spaces in your miniature gardens.
(Miniature Lawns: The best "lawn" for miniature gardening is the Irish Moss but make sure it grows well in your area, (check the zones, watering and light needs,) before investing and planting.)
