FAQ - Shipping Info:
"How do you ship plants safely?"
Well, we have a secret called Steve. We are so confident in Steve, together with the Priority Mail Shipping method, we are able guarantee plants during shipment.
"How will you send my order?"
You have a choice when checking out of the online store now! USPS now offers different ways to ship your order. If you are ordering miniatures or hard-goods, Ground Advantage is the least expensive option. If you are ordering live, perishable plants, please, please choose Priority Mail.
If you have a large order and want to save on shipping costs, it may be beneficial to order the non-living items separately by Ground, and place a second order of anything living, by Priority Mail.
"Do you really guarantee your plants during shipment? No one else does that."
All our plants are guaranteed during shipment when YOU choose Priority Mail. :o) Sometimes we have to wait until after major weather or holiday weekends to ship it - but will get there in perfect condition! (Note that we can only guarantee plants shipped by Priority Mail.)
"How long does it take to get my order?"
It depends what shipping method you choose but for our end, it normally takes about 3 to 5 days to pack and get it the post office. During the busiest months in spring, it can take up to a week to get the order processed and shipped. Let us know if you need it faster and we'll make it happen (within reason.)
Priority Mail takes 2 to 3 days and doesn't stress out the plant material.
Ground Advantage is can sometimes take up to two weeks to get your order in some areas. This can put a LOT of stress on the plants which is why we strongly recommend (and guarantee) Priority Mail for shipping live plants.

Our Commitment to Quality
All items leave our studio in excellent condition. If anything arrives less than perfect, we want to know about it and make it right.
Damaged Items (Plants & Accessories)
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours:
- Email or text a photo to Steve@TwoGreenThumbs.com (or 206-352-0494)
- We'll issue a refund or send a replacement (our choice)
- Photos are required for our records
For plants specifically: Your plant has been in a box for 2-4 days and may need a day or two to perk up. This is normal. However, any major damage will be apparent within 24 hours. If you see significant damage, please contact us right away with a photo.
Returns & Exchanges for Accessories/Hard Goods
Returns:
- Notify us within 24 hours of receiving your shipment
- Return item within 7-14 days
- Item must be in resellable, like-new condition
- Refund or store credit will be issued upon receipt
- Buyer pays return shipping (unless it's our error—then we cover it)
Exchanges:
- Accepted anytime within reason
- Buyer pays shipping both ways
- We'll wait to receive your return before sending the replacement

Plant Warranty & Guarantee
What we guarantee: We guarantee all plant material during shipment when sent by Priority Mail. Our expert packing and careful monitoring ensure your plants arrive healthy and ready to thrive.
What we cannot guarantee: Once your plants arrive safely, their care and maintenance are in your hands. We cannot warranty plants after delivery—there are simply too many variables we can't control (watering, placement, local conditions, etc.).
Even experienced gardeners lose plants occasionally. It happens! We're always happy to provide care guidance through our websites, blog, and social media, but we cannot grow the plants for you.
We're reasonable people: If you need a replacement or have concerns, reach out. We'll work with you within reason. We just need photos and timely communication.
