Tenzan Japanese Cedar - Cryptomeria japonica 'Tenzan'

This wonderful miniature is indeed a true miniature with a growth rate of less than 1" per year - possibly the slowest growing Cryptomeria available.

Cryptomerias do well in shade where the soil can remain evenly damp. It really is an awesome little shrub for part shade or cool sun as the shade helps even-out the dampness of the soil, so all you need to do is to water it regularly.

If its in-ground, it'll establish itself - just water it when the weather has been dry. 

Bronze tips in the winter are too sweet against the limey-green-ness of the stiff leaves.
