Green Velvet Boxwood – Buxus x ‘Green Velvet’

This classic boxwood’s velvety foliage and low, compact habit lends itself to formal hedges or knot gardens. You can keep it trimmed anyway you like for your miniature garden – and it has a nice trunk on it for that authentic tree look.

A versatile shrub, the Green Velvet Boxwood is a slow-growing form of the common boxwood. It can lend itself to a variety of scales and many forms of miniature gardening. It can be pruned at any time, snip the stem just above a set of leaves to hide the cut and it can also be sheared into a fun topiary shape. Keep its 'tree' look by taking off some of the lower leaves on the trunk. It can also be groomed into a hedge by planting several side by side. 

Indoor Growing - Add light anywhere! You can find grow-bulbs that fit regular lamps at your local hardware store or online.

• Don’t let it dry out between watering
