Gracilis Canadian Hemlock - Tsuga diversifolia 'Gracilis'

The Gracilis Japanese Hemlock is very cute and reliable tree for your miniature garden. The exceptionally short needles with white undersides are perched along tiny branches that splay out from the perfect little trunk. It is also called a Rice Tree because of the whitish undersides. 

• Growth rate is 3" to 6" per year
• Prune gently in late winter if desired
• Lovely tiny green colored foliage with white undersides 

• Cold hardy zones: 4-8 or -30F
• Heat zones: 8-1
• Sun to partial shade
• Regular water if in a pot, likes to stay a little damp
