Hebefolia Canada Hemlock - Tsuga canadensis 'Hebefolia'

Alright, this is a miniature tree in every sense of the word! Usually "miniature" in the garden world means the growth rate is less than 1" per year, but take a look at the those tiny leaves! Awesomeness! AND those tiny cones that are starting to develop that you can see in the close-up photos? Be still my heart! 

It's actually one of the smallest Canada Hemlocks known to the nursery trade. It's called Hebefolia because it has the same leaves as a true miniature Hebe, a small flowering shrub.
