You pick the tree, bedding plants, patio and accessories. Or tell us your light and zone, and we’ll pick plants that grow well together. It lasts for years before it needs repotting, it grows slowly, and it’s easy to maintain. Build this kit once and you’ll know how to make any garden in miniature. Indoors or outdoors, your choice.

How It Works

1. Buy this kit. The price covers the plants, patio, accessories, instructions and shipping. Don’t add the plants or accessories to your cart separately.
2. Send us your picks. Reply to your order confirmation email, or write to info@TwoGreenThumbs.com, with:
   • 1 tree and 2 bedding plants from our Plants section, or your zone (or indoor light) and we’ll choose for you
   • Your patio: small stone sheet or small brick sheet, plus a color
   • Up to $20 in accessories from our Miniatures section
3. We pack and ship. Your instruction booklet PDF arrives in your inbox instantly, and your kit ships by Priority Mail within 7 business days of receiving your picks.

• One true dwarf or miniature tree

• Mini Patio Mix kit: mix, sand, borders and skewers
• Instruction booklet PDF with step-by-step directions

What You’ll Need

• A pot at least 8" deep and 8" wide, with a drainage hole (add a saucer if it’s going indoors)
• Organic potting soil with no added fertilizer or water-retaining polymers
• About 2 to 3 hours

The kit goes together dry, so you can build it at the kitchen table and move it to the sink or outside to water.

About the Plants

If you’d like us to choose, we’ll pick plants that:

• suit your zone and light
• grow well together in the same pot
• coordinate in color and texture

Care

• A Two Green Thumbs miniature garden can last five years or more in an 8" to 10" deep pot.
• The bedding plants may need dividing after 2 to 3 years. That’s part of the fun: it’s a real garden, and it grows and changes.
• Water regularly, more often in dry months and only as needed in winter.

Shipping

Flat-rate Priority Mail is included. If checkout charges you shipping, we’ll refund it. Adding other small items to your order? We’ll fit them in the same box and refund that shipping too.
