It's also called Red Star or Rosy Posy but whatever you want to call it, it's an ideal plant for gardening in miniature. The foliage stays low and delicate, and it flowers on short stems so it stays in scale in any kind of mini garden or fairy garden.
It's for zone 7 so in colder regions, grow this in a pot so you can overwinter it in a cool, dry room or garage. Avoid excess water in the winter time.
Deciduous! It'll back the ground in winter. Be sure to mark the spot if you plant it in-ground so you remember that it is there when it goes dormant for the winter.
