This is a charmer for the miniature garden and we're glad to have it back in stock again.

The tips of the foliage are a lovely emerald green color, turning into a darker green as the branch goes toward the trunk.

How it will grow for the miniature garden: This Hinoki grows slowly into a really majestic tree in miniature! After a couple/few years, you can start to see what the trunk is going to do and then you can start to carefully prune-away some of the lower branches to expose more of the trunk to make it look like a tree. Remember to prune carefully and gradually, standing back after each cut - you can always prune more off, but you can't put it back on.

  • Very rich green color in winter

  • Heat Zones 8-1
  • Full sun to part sun, avoid hot sun, especially if it is in a container
  • Regular water
