Fairy Plant: Sweet Alyssum - Lobularia 'Sweetie Rose'

Another perfect fairy garden plant, Alyssum is perfect for pots or in-ground fairy gardens. The flowers seem to bloom all summer and into fall. It's well behaved in my experience but note that it can be invasive in some areas.

This is an annual plant for most areas but it blooms will charm you all summer long. It may stop blooming in the summer but will bloom again in the fall. 

The flowers on this 'Sweetie Rose' variety look pink in the sun and purple in the shade.

Trim lightly after flowering to maintain the compactness.

• Shear after flowering to keep it tidy
• Let the soil dry out in between waterings if in a pot
