Butter Ball Dwarf Hinoki Cypress - Chameacyparis obtusa 'Butter Ball'

Like Buttah!! But a LOT prettier. :o)

One of our favorite Hinoki cypresses, the soft and lacy foliage is splashed with multi-toned yellows and creams in a perfect palm-sized ball of conifer magic. Just lovely on its own and even more lovely in a miniature garden.

It'll get more yellow in the sun and limey-green with more shade - but it does need at least 6 hours of sun. 

We look forward to seeing the branches push up the canopy and become more tree-like for the miniature garden.

• Wonderful coloring, from light lemon to deep emerald green
• Lacier than usual foliage is very soft to the touch

• Growth Rate is 2" to 4" per year

• Cold hardy to Zones 5 through 8 or to -20F
