Bullata Dwarf Japanese Spirea - Spirea japonica 'Bullata'

The Bullata Dwarf Japanese Spiraea is a charmer! It's awesome tiny foliage is a lovely dark, rich green and stays in scale. The tiny, wavy-edged leaves are deeply veined on this globe-shaped shrub that makes the perfect back-drop for the rose-crimson flower clusters that come out in springtime.

Shear the flowers after they fade for a second round of blooming. You can shear the entire again in late winter to slow the growth-rate down even more. BUT if you forget - it is STILL a perfect fit because all the branches, leaves and flowers stay in scale.

**Photo shown flowering is what you get when you DON'T prune it. As a miniature garden plant, we can shear it back after flowering and in the late winter to slow down the growth rate so it will stay small in our mini garden scene.**
