Blue Moon Sawara Cypress - Chameacyparis pisifera 'Blue Moon'

The Blue Moon Sawara Cypress has a fantastic foliage color, great shape and hardy in the cold and can tolerate the heat so much better than I can. Lol!

The gray-green color pairs well with just about any other color in the garden but it's a perfect color for the winter mini garden as well. The leaves seem to look greener in the summer and grayer in the winter which just adds to its charm.

The Sawara Cypress can tolerate colder and drier temperatures than the Hinoki cypress.

• Can take full sun easily, watch the hot summer sun if in a container
