 An exciting new evergreen shrub that is a feast for the eyes! We've been experimenting with Coprosmas for a few years and we are finally convinced they are a great little shrub for the miniature garden. The new foliage is a bright green, that turns to shades of 

**A tender tree - not for colder regions but you can certainly keep this indoors in the winter and place it outside in the summer, away from the hot, direct sun. 

Can be grown indoors year-round as well. Keep in a cool spot with good ventilation and bright, filtered light. 

The colors change throughout the seasons too. It gets redder in the winter apparently and creamier in the summer. Even more fun to have around! 

Prune-away any of the bottom branches to shape it into a tree-form. Keep the bottom of the trunk clear of any new growth and trim away any new, wayward top-shoots as you see them. Shear it in late winter to keep the grown bushy. 

  • Tiny colorful leaves stay in scale
  • Trees are about 6" to 7" tall right now
  • Cool sun to part shade, shelter from hot sun
  • Regular water
  • Grows rate is unknown, estimated at 3-5" per year
  • Can be pruned easily when dormant to keep small
  • Upright broad shape
