Another perfect perennial ground cover that we can use in the miniature garden as a wee shrub to add layers to the mini landscape. The plant grows in a lovely mound about 1" tall. The leaves that will stay that size as the mound will slowly spreads out.

The flowers are pretty pink pompoms on 2 1/2" stems that bloom throughout the spring and summer - perfect for miniature flower arranging.

HARDY!! To Zone 2 or -40F! Brrrrr!!

Deer resistant. Attracts hummingbirds.

  • Full sun
  • Likes infertile and well-drained soil

Janit's companion plant suggestions: Any mugo pine or juniper will match the cold hardiness as well as complement the textures and colors.
