Verdoni Hinoki Cypress - Chameacyparis obtusa 'Verdoni'

The Verdoni Hinoki Cypress is a dependable, upright, conical-shaped evergreen tree that is perfect for the miniature garden. It wears that wonderfully rich, emerald green color that just sings on an overcast day. 

This plant is deer resistant and that probably means rabbit resistant too. 

Hinokis love their roots evenly damp so make sure that soil never dries out - but test before watering to prevent overwatering. (The best, cheapest, handiest moisture meter you'll ever own is your finger. Poke down an inch in the soil, if it's wet - wait. If it's barely damp, you can water.
