The Red Carpet Sedum is a great color for the in-ground miniature garden bed. The leaf-colors range from olive green with red or solid red. Can be grown in pots for a larger-scaled miniature gardens or fairy gardens. 

Add interest and depth to your under-story with this drought tolerant Sedum that does very well in full-sun and dry soil, (but not too long or too often - see below.) Red flowers in summer.

Pinch back leggy stems. Divide every two to three years, to keep it fresh and happy. Use the cuttings to make more plants or miniature flower arrangements.
