R.E.L. Miniature Norway Spruce - Picea abies 'R.E.L.'

R.E.L. is new to our inventory and, from what we can see so far, a fun specimen for conifer collectors, miniature gardens and landscapes. Norway Spruces are generally very reliable and very hardy, and with a growth rate of 1" to 3" per year, the R.E.L. might be a new favorite for miniature gardening.

The irregular branching pattern is very unique, with the needles at the tips of the branches are shorter than the older leaves, creating a bushy foxtail look that is striking. All the trees have a wonderful trunk on them already.

And, it looks like it's covered in cones right now - October, 2026 - we can't wait for them to form completely.
