Mini Hosta 'Tiny Tears'

The Tiny Tears Miniature Hosta is truly adorable with 1" to 2" long, glossy leaves. The purple-violet flowers apparently can shoot up from 4" tall or longer.

Hostas are very low maintenance but make sure to keep the snails and slugs away from the foliage.

Versatile, can be grown in most soils and in cold zones 4 through 9. 

This plant is deciduous, meaning it will die right back in the fall. The only caveat is to remember where it is planted the following spring!

• Glossy green leaves to 1" to 2" tall 
• Purple-violet flowers in spring, up from 4" to 8" tall
• Deciduous, will die back in the fall but come back the springtime
• Great for containers or in-ground (watch for snails & slugs)

• Spreads slowly
• Plants can be divided every couple/few years, or left to clump
• At least 3 hosta plants in each container

• Cold hardy to zones 4 - 9, or to -30F
• Heat zones are 9 - 2

• Part or full shade, dappled shade
• Keep soil well drained but evenly damp, do not let the soil dry out completely
• Pot is 2 ½" wide
