Oh my Maureen! The lovely Maureen Hinoki Cypress is quite the charmer. Eventually she will grow wider than tall. The colors of the foliage change from emerald green on the gently curled tips to a rich hunter green as you look further into each branch. A darling shrub for the miniature garden.

Shelter this gem from the hot afternoon sun in the summertime. It's so slow-growing compact when young, it may burn. Cool, eastern sun is perfect, or shade the container with a larger container. Check inside the shrub for any dead branches and clear them out when you see it.
