Pink Pussy Toes - Antennaria dioica 'Rubra'

Perfect for the fairy garden too! The tiny deep pink flowers pop-up in early summer against the soft blue-green foliage, it's quite strikingly sweet - but it's the fun foliage that we're loving.

The foliage is very structural without the flowers and will add a completely different texture to your miniature garden design. It grows flat to the ground in a terrific texture mat of fuzzy gray-green leaves. Depending where you are it's evergreen or at least semi evergreen and only available this time of year.

The Pink Pussy Toes will spread out as it grows - and can trail nicely, it seems. It can be grown in light shade but it is known as a rockery plant so we know it prefers sunnier & drier conditions. Just make sure the "light shade" isn't a damp-shade. 

**Water this plant in the morning to avoid wet/damp leaves at night. It can dry out in between watering sessions but don't let it dry out for too long.
