A favorite. Stays in scale. Tough. Well behaved. Evergreen. Hardy. Need I say more?

This Green Carpet ground cover is a terrific plant for the miniature garden that's a slow growing ground cover that grows in a tight mat with tiny leaves.

Evergreen, meaning it stays green year 'round but gets a blush of amber in the colder months.

It's about 1/2" to 1" in height so it looks like the perfect shrub in miniature. From full sun to part shade, this one is a gem. Looks great along a pathway or at the edge of the miniature patio.

  • full sun to part sun
  • let dry out to damp between watering sessions
  • needs good drainage
  • fragrant blooms June through August
  • cold zones 5 - 8 or -20F
  • heat zones 9 - 1
  • an outdoor plant
  • divide every second or third year to keep fresh

From Treina in FL:

I got my order and have been constantly amazed.  It was packed tightly and securely and as soon as I let it breathe, so to speak, it began to spread and loosen up and show life.  It's a joy to watch. Thank you so much.  It more than met my expectations, it surpassed anything I thought I could get for that price.
We'll do business again.
