Mikulasovice Dwarf Norway Spruce - Picea abies 'Mikulasovice'

A very interesting and very distinctive conifer that is relatively new. The Mikulosovice Norway Spruce on first glance looks a mugo pine with its hearty branches, long needles and pyramid shape, but it's full of character, super hardy and perfect for container miniature gardens. 

The yellow-y needles in winter brings a bright spot in the garden bed. it's the winter blush, and will turn back to the rich green in the summer months.

• Growth rate is 2 to 4" per year
• Globe shape grows into an awesome pyramidal shape

• Extremely hardy Zones 3-8, or hardy to -40F
• Heat zones 8-1

• Full sun - watch containers in the hot, summer afternoon sun so the soil doesn't dry out completely.
