Fairy Plant: Lilac Rock Cress - Aubrieta 'Axent Lilac'

An ideal plant for the fairy garden! This perennial ground cover is a bit faster growing, can do well in a pot for a couple of seasons, or plant it right in the ground and you've got another perennial favorite! Perfect for borders or rockeries.

The small, purple-lilac colored flowers are just charming. The foliage stays in scale as it will spread 8 to 12". Shear it back gently after it's finished flowering in early summer to keep it tidy.

Supposed to be deer resistant. Attracts butterflies.

Great for areas with cooler summers or plant it a spot that is sheltered from that hot summer sun.
