Emerald Sprite Cotoneaster - Cotoneaster x suecicus 'Emerald Sprite'

Regular price $18.99

A new variety of Cotoneaster from Oregon has already charmed us with its delicate branched and adorable, rich green leaves. The delicate, teardrop-shaped foliage is exquisite in color and shine. The tiny white flowers last from spring through summer, and turn into orange, inedible berries in the fall. Look forward to more flowers as it ages.

This looks like a fun little shrub for the miniature garden or railroad garden. The growth habit is "compact spreading" which really means it spreads gradually. It'll keep a gentle mounding shape as well.

A perfect companion to conifers, it grows slowly at 2" to 4" per year into a low spreading mat that can be kept trimmed easily.
