Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper - Juniperus procumbens 'Nana'

This spreading juniper is new to our inventory but we are already in love with it. It grows prostrate (sideways) so we know that it makes an excellent miniature shrub for the under-story of the miniature garden bed because it will naturally stay about 4" tall. Train it where you want it to grow, down the side of a pot or rockery.

Also used by bonsai artists to create unique specimens with very little investment.

Junipers are one of the hardiest conifers. They can handle the full, hot sun in stride, they are cold-hardy to -40F and are drought tolerant too.
