Cole's Prostrate Canada Hemlock - Tsuga canadensis 'Cole's Prostrate'

A weeping dwarf Hemlock for your miniature garden or fairy garden. This beauty will gradually cascade over a rock, miniature wall or pot edge. Rare, limited in quantity.

A truly beautiful hemlock that is easy to grow, low maintenance and hardy.

To get more height out of the tree before it starts to cascade down, train the leader (the main stem/trunk,) by staking it upright until the desired height is achieved, then let it start to cascade.

The third photo is from the grower's garden and is probably several decades old.

• Can be trained to grow up a miniature arbor
• Can be trimmed to slow the growth
• Growth rate: 3 to 6" per yr

• Cold hardy Zones: 4-8, or hardy to-30F
• Heat zones: 8-1

• Part shade to cool full sun
• Regular water, don't let soil dry out completely

• Fertilize after 2 years if planted in a container
• Comes in a 4" pot
• An outdoor plant
