Whipcord Western Red Cedar - Thuja plicata 'Whipcord'

The unusual foliage on this low, mop-head plant consists of long, thick, glossy tendrils that will instantly bring fun and whimsy in your miniature or fairy garden. Evergreen and hardy too. Fun to grow.

Green in summer, the foliage changes to bronze in winter, matching the richly colored wood. A tough, dynamic conifer that demonstrates some deer resistance and has some tolerance to dry soil. Great for a shady spot as well.
