Snow Sprite Deodar Cedar - Cedrus deodara 'Snow Sprite'

This tree is a favorite among bonsai enthusiasts so we know it will work in our miniature gardens with a bit of pruning. If you don't want to "bonsai it," leave it to grow into a wonderful compact conifer that will brighten up any shady spot on your miniature garden. It'll develop a leader with age, but that will take years. 

The creamy green spikey foliage will contrast nicely with just about any plant in your miniature garden and add a completely different texture. The new growth in springtime is ivory white and very pretty.

I do believe these Deodara Cedars enjoy evenly damp soil or a spot where the soil will never completely dry out. Although they are listed as "full sun" plants sometimes, a part sun spot will help the soil damp and the roots happy.
