This colorful gem is great for miniature gardens in warmer climates - especially for the southeastern States. The new growth emerges deep red and burgundy that matures to a dark evergreen. The foliage will blush red again in winter if planted in full sun and last through the winter.
Slow growing and well-behaved. Can tolerate pruning or shear it into a low hedge when it gets too big. Drought tolerant once established in the landscape.
