Golden Mop Threadbranch Cypress - Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Golden Mop'

Great color for the miniature garden!

The finely textured foliage of the Golden Mop Threadbranch Cypress develops vibrant gold growth in spring and retains its brilliance through the seasons - even where challenged by heat and humidity. Partial shade will turn the yellow color to a bright green. 

In full sun, it will wear the brightest yellow color. In the colder temps it will get a slight "winter's blush" of amber. It's a fun, colorful little shrub all year long.

It will grow up and out into a globe shape, shear it back very gently if needed. Prune foliage only. Never cut the branch, it will not come back. Remove any wayward branches.
