Ellie B! It’s fun to say too. The Ellie B. is a true miniature conifer that starts mounded and compact but will grow out and up – slooowly – to an upright broad shape that is dense and whimsical. She’ll keep her rich, green color in the warmer months and get a distinctive bronze-y tones in winter to match her cinnamon-brown stems.

  • Growth: 1" to 3” per year
  • Shape: Globe shape will turn into an upright broad shape 
  • Hardy: Cold hardy Zones 5-8 or to -20F
  • Heat Hardy: Heat Zones 8-1
  • Light: Full sun to part shade
  • Water: Regular water if in a pot, let dry out to damp in between watering 
  • Maintenance: Clean out the dead leaves inside the shrub when you see them.
  • Tips will turn bronze-y in the colder areas in winter, it's 'winter blush'

  • Pot is 4" wide
  • An outdoor plant
