Details

The coloring is just lovely on this miniature garden shrub, the tips of the tiny foliage are a lovely cream color, turning into a beautiful gray-green as you follow the branch towards the center of the shrub.

Sawara Cypresses are a bit tougher than Hinoki Cypress. They can handle hotter & dryer conditions but, in a potted miniature garden, keep them out of that hot afternoon sun in the summertime to be safe.

Remember to shear it in late winter to keep it in a tight ball and to encourage the white tips and to keep it nice and bushy. You'll notice that it will look like it needs a haircut by then. Full sun brings out the white tips also. A very fun cypress!
