The Golden Promise Japanese Cedar is already a champion for the miniature garden as it truly looks like a full-sized tree. It will slowly fill-out and grow into a round, globe shape but, while it does, we can enjoy it as a perfect anchor tree for any miniature garden, in a pot or in the ground. 

The awl-like tips of the bright yellow foliage will bronze in winter with the cold temperatures and contrast nicely with the green interior branches, just when you need a blast of color most. 

Best in a partly shaded or cool-sun spot with evenly damp soil. The part shade will help keep the soil evenly damp. 

  • Growth: 3" to 5" per year
