Crimson Red Star - Rhodohypoxis baurii crimson

Charming! A favorite miniature garden plant that is perfect for the understory in your mini garden design. It pairs perfectly with any of our trees or shrubs, does well in sun and in light shade. Low maintenance and a pleasure to grow. 

It's also called Red Star or Rosy Posy but whatever you want to call it, it's an ideal plant for gardening in miniature. The foliage stays low and delicate, and it flowers on short stems so it stays in scale in any kind of mini garden or fairy garden.

It's for zone 7 so in colder regions, grow this in a pot so you can overwinter it in a cool, dry room or garage. Avoid excess water in the winter time.

Deciduous! It'll die back to the ground in winter. Be sure to mark the spot if you plant it in-ground, so you remember when it goes dormant for the winter.
