Thumbelina Miniature Norway Spruce - Picea abies 'Thumbelina'

Thumbelina is a true miniature garden shrub, very reliable and hardy, with a growth rate of less than 1" per year. 

The soft, bright green foliage in the photos is the new growth each spring. It will turn a darker gray-green as it matures. In winter, the tiny brown buds contrast nicely with the tiny gray-green needles for the winter.

Thumbelina looks great alone in a tiny miniature garden or pair-it with an upright tree for middle-layer in a "bigger" miniature garden design.
