Jane's Jewel is a new hinoki cypress that looks like it's going to be a pleasure to grow. It's globe-shaped when its young and matures into a unique upright shape. A slow grower that will develop more structure as it ages. The rich green fans of foliage on the upright branches already has us entranced.
Grow in full sun with moist, well-drained soil for the best results.
- 1" to 2" per year
- Upright broad
- Needs really good drainage!
- Cold hardy zone 5 - 8 or -20F
- Heat zones 8 - 1
- Full sun to part shade
- An outdoor plant
