Details
Cooper's Cotoneaster is a little more elegant than our other Cotoneasters. The delicate, teardrop-shaped leaves are exquisite in color and shine. The tiny white flowers in spring turn to red berries for the rest of the year.
It is fun little shrub for the miniature garden or railroad garden. Shear the branches in winter while it's dormant to keep its globe shape. Prune back any wayward branches to keep its shape whenever you want.
A perfect companion to conifers, it grows slowly at 2" to 4" per year into a low spreading mat that can be kept trimmed easily.
Deciduous: it will shed its tiny leaves in autumn and leave a wonderful reddy stemmed skeleton for winter interest.
