Gracilis Japanese Hemlock - Tsuga diversifolia 'Gracilis'
The Gracilis Japanese Hemlock is very cute and reliable tree for your miniature garden. The exceptionally short needles with white undersides are perched along tiny branches that splay out from the perfect little trunk. It is also called a Rice Tree because of the whitish undersides.
SPRING 2018 - Trees are larger than usual this season and really lovely. The trunks are thicker and the canopy is more-developed. Prune-away some of the lower branches to make it into t tree, and keep the over-all shape of the canopy in-check by cutting any wayward branches.
