Limeglow Juniper - Juniperus horizontalis 'Limeglow'

Regular price $17.99

The Limeglow Juniper offers a splash of color all year 'round for the full sun miniature garden. The feathery foliage puts on a spring show of electric lime-green, moving to pinky-copper in the fall and deep plum in the winter when you need it most. Very fun!

Keep it in full sun for the best color.

The growth habit is spreading, or prostrate, which really means that for our miniature gardens that it will grow outwards, not upwards. Control the growth by trimming back the new growth.

Junipers are great plants for full sun and drier climates. The can be drought tolerant once established in the garden bed. (Established means watering it regularly for one full year, after that, it'll need some water in the dry months only.) Great for containers too, just don't let the pot dry out too long, too often.

  • Growth rate is 3" to 5" per year
  • Cold hardy to zones 3 thru 9, or to -40F
  • Heat zones 9 - 1
  • Full sun
  • Well drained soil
  • Regular water until established in-ground (after 1 year)
  • Let dry out to barely damp in between to avoid over watering if in a container
  • Comes in a 4" pot
  • An outdoor plant
